Georg Jensen (1866 - 1935)

Jensen was always inspired to become an artist. Previously as a sculptor and then a ceramist, but ultimately becoming the famous silver smith he is known for today. He grew up near a forest and lakes with nature at the core of the inspiration for his designs. Georg Jensen jewellery continues to uphold the quality and craftsmanship that his legacy created.

Georg Jensen x Sustainability

The brand is deeply committed to sustainability, ensuring responsible sourcing and production processes. In 2021, Georg Jensen became a certified member of the Responsible Jewellery Council, reflecting its dedication to ethical practices and environmental care. Each piece of the Danish jewellery is crafted to last, embodying the brand's legacy of excellence and sustainable innovation. Since 1st January 2023 all of their jewellery has been made from certified recycled 18ct gold.
