This timepiece is handcrafted by Takumi artisans who bring to life Grand Seiko’s respect for the nature of time.
The textured dial is inspired by the frozen mountainous snow surface reflecting the blue skies which dominate the view from the Shinshu Watch Studio in Japan’s Nagano Prefecture.
Inspired by the original ‘Skyflake,’ this piece is smaller and more compact, powered by the 9F61 in-house movement, adjusted to an accuracy of -/+ 10 seconds per year. Every quartz crystal has different performance characteristics; aged and rigorously tested for three months, only the most accurate quartz oscillators are crafted into each Grand Seiko.
Calibre 9F delivers high performance and durability through innovations in every aspect of the movement: the instant Date Change mechanism; the torque – comparable to a mechanical movement which allows wider and longer hands; the Second hand precision which achieves positional accuracy on the dial against the markers; and the sealed structure meaning high retention of lubricating oils.

For all online orders Deacons will arrange delivery of the goods in accordance with the delivery details provided by you. Delivery will be made by Royal Mail Special Next Day delivery requiring a signature on receipt. Please allow at least 3 - 5 working days from acceptance of your order for delivery. Refunds will be provided against the original payment method or credit/debit card used to complete the purchase. If you wish to return your product, please use a secure return service with the appropriate insurance level and with full tracking, as you are responsible until this product is received. If your return is due to a damaged or defective product then we will refund the delivery charges and pay your costs of returning it to Deacons.
